We are now using EMIS online Access to order prescriptions, this great new way of ording is alot easier, quicker and alot more beneficial for all our patients as your request goes directly to the doctors themselves. And soon you will be able to view your own medical records. Emergencies & Out of Hours


During Opening Hours

If you have a medical problem which you feel cannot wait until the next routine appointment (usually 48 hours or less), please phone the Practice between 8.00am and 9.30am. Your details will be taken and passed to a doctor who will assess your needs.

All emergencies are seen the same day, during surgery hours, but not always by the doctor of your choice.

Out of Hours (OOH)

If you feel that you need to see a doctor urgently when the Practice is closed (after 6pm Mon—Friday, all day Saturday & Sunday & public  holidays) and that it cannot wait until the next day, phone the Practice and an automated message will guide you. 

Please do not phone the Out of Hours service when the Practice is open as your call will be referred back to us.

Between 18.00 - 18.30 on a weekday your telephone call with be auto-forwarded to our current OOH providers, GoToDoc as usual

Between 18.30 - 08.00 each weekday and also throughout the weekend and over public holidays, the OOH service will change to NHS111. If you telephone the Practice during these times you will be asked to hang up and redial '111' - this call is free for landlines and mobiles.  The NHS111 service service is available for urgent healthcare assessments and you will be directed to the most suitable local service to meet  your needs.  For example a local pharmacy, GP, walk in centre, specialist community based service, A&E or an emergency ambulance response
