Between 18.00 – 18.30 on a weekday your telephone call with be auto-forwarded to our current OOH providers, GoToDoc as usual.
Between 18.30 – 08.00 each weekday and also throughout the weekend and over public holidays, the OOH service will change to NHS111. If you telephone the Practice during these times you will be asked to hang up and redial 111 this call is free for landlines and mobiles.
The NHS111 service service is available for urgent healthcare assessments and you will be directed to the most suitable local service to meet your needs. For example a local pharmacy, GP, walk in centre, specialist community based service, A&E or an emergency ambulance response.
Emergencies during opening hours
If you have a medical problem which you feel cannot wait until the next routine appointment (usually 48 hours or less), please phone the surgery between 8:00am and 9:30am. Your details will be taken and passed to a doctor who will assess your needs. All emergencies are seen the same day, during surgery hours, but not always by the doctor of your choice.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
